Founder’s Membership Terms & Acknowledgment
By completing registration and submitting payment for the Art of Hockey Founder’s Membership, you agree to the following terms.
1. Membership Overview
The Art of Hockey Founder’s Membership is designed for players and families seeking ongoing development support, video analysis, coaching guidance, and a clearer plan for long-term improvement.
Membership benefits may include monthly video reviews, a monthly private coach strategy call, email support, development guidance, and priority access to select Art of Hockey opportunities where applicable.
Membership is for one player only and may not be shared between siblings, teammates, or other players.
2. Billing and Payment
Founder’s Membership is offered at:
$249 per month, billed monthly through Stripe; or
$2,499 per year, billed annually through Stripe.
Payments are processed through Stripe. By enrolling, you authorize recurring subscription billing according to the plan selected at checkout.
Membership services begin once payment is completed.
3. Cancellation
Members may cancel at any time before the next billing cycle.
Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically refund payments already made. Access to membership benefits continues through the end of the current paid billing period unless otherwise determined by Art of Hockey.
If a member cancels, Founder’s pricing is not guaranteed if they choose to rejoin later. Founder’s pricing is available only while the membership remains active and in good standing.
4. Refund Policy
Membership payments are generally non-refundable once the billing period begins.
Refunds may be issued at the sole discretion of Art of Hockey.
5. Video Review Benefits
Founder’s Membership includes up to four monthly video reviews.
One unused video review may carry over for one month only, allowing for a maximum of five video reviews in a single month. Unused reviews beyond that do not continue to accumulate.
Each video review typically includes review of one game or approximately 20 minutes of relevant footage, depending on the player’s ice time and the footage submitted.
Members may submit non-game footage for review when appropriate, but should contact Art of Hockey first to confirm whether the footage fits within the membership review structure.
6. Film Submission and Clipping
Founder’s Members may submit full game links for Art of Hockey to review and clip, up to approximately two hours of footage per submission.
Members are encouraged to provide notes, timestamps, priorities, or specific questions when possible. This helps Art of Hockey focus the review on the areas most relevant to the player’s development.
All submitted footage is used for private member feedback only. Art of Hockey will not publicly post, share, or use submitted player film for marketing without separate permission.
Members are responsible for ensuring they have the right to share any game film, video links, or footage submitted to Art of Hockey.
7. Turnaround Time
Founder’s Members receive prioritized review compared to standard video analysis submissions. However, Founder’s Membership does not include rush turnaround unless purchased separately.
Rush turnaround may be available as a premium add-on. When purchased, rush reviews are generally delivered within 24 to 48 hours, depending on availability and receipt of usable footage.
8. Monthly Coach Strategy Call
Founder’s Membership includes one 45-minute private coach strategy call per month.
Calls must be scheduled in advance using the scheduling link provided in the welcome kit.
Unused monthly calls do not roll over.
If a member needs to reschedule a call, Art of Hockey generally requests at least 12 hours’ notice. We understand that unexpected circumstances may come up, and families should reach out as soon as possible. Art of Hockey will try to accommodate reasonable rescheduling requests when available.
Additional coach calls may be scheduled for $30 per 30-minute session, subject to availability, using the link provided in the welcome kit.
9. Ongoing Support
Founder’s Members receive ongoing email support related to player development, video feedback, membership questions, and general guidance.
Art of Hockey aims to be available as a development resource throughout the membership. Communication support is intended to provide thoughtful guidance and direction, not unlimited real-time coaching, emergency support, recruiting representation, or guaranteed immediate responses.
Frequency and structure of support may be adjusted when needed based on the player’s goals, schedule, and development needs.
10. Priority Access
Founder’s Members may receive early notice or priority registration for select Art of Hockey training opportunities, camps, clinics, private lessons, or events when available.
Priority access does not guarantee placement, availability, roster spots, private lesson openings, or discounted pricing. Opportunities may depend on location, season, age group, player fit, rink availability, and Art of Hockey’s discretion.
11. Parent/Guardian Consent for Minors
If the player is under 18, the parent or legal guardian completing registration confirms that they are authorized to enroll the player in the Founder’s Membership and consent to Art of Hockey providing membership-related services.
The parent or legal guardian also agrees that Art of Hockey may use the information provided during registration and membership participation to deliver video analysis, coaching feedback, development guidance, scheduling support, and membership communications.
12. Player and Family Expectations
Founder’s Membership is built for players who want to be challenged, coached, and supported in their development.
Members and families are expected to communicate respectfully, act professionally, and approach the development process with a positive attitude, coachability, and a genuine drive to improve.
Art of Hockey reserves the right to suspend or cancel membership access if a player, parent, guardian, or family member engages in disrespectful, unsafe, abusive, inappropriate, or disruptive behavior.
13. No Guaranteed Results
Art of Hockey provides coaching support, video analysis, feedback, and development guidance. However, membership does not guarantee any specific outcome, including but not limited to:
team placement
roster selection
playing time
advancement to a higher level
scholarship opportunities
recruiting results
performance improvement
specific hockey outcomes
Player development depends on many factors, including effort, consistency, coachability, health, opportunity, team environment, and individual circumstances.
14. Medical, Safety, and Recruiting Disclaimer
Art of Hockey provides hockey development coaching, video analysis, training feedback, and general player development guidance. Art of Hockey does not provide medical advice, physical therapy, athletic training services, mental health services, scouting services, recruiting representation, or guaranteed placement guidance.
Any coaching notes, training suggestions, video feedback, off-ice recommendations, or development guidance provided by Art of Hockey are for general hockey development purposes only. Families and players are responsible for determining whether any activity, drill, exercise, training recommendation, or participation opportunity is appropriate for the player’s health, fitness level, skill level, and personal circumstances.
Families should consult appropriate medical, health, athletic training, physical therapy, or recruiting professionals when needed. Players should not participate in any activity or follow any training recommendation if they are injured, experiencing pain, under medical restriction, or unsure whether the activity is appropriate.
Participation in hockey, skating, training, sports activity, off-ice development, camps, clinics, private lessons, and related activities carries inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, overuse injuries, equipment-related injuries, contact with other players, rink or facility conditions, and other known or unknown risks. By participating in Art of Hockey activities or using Art of Hockey guidance, players and families acknowledge and accept these risks.
Art of Hockey is not responsible for injuries, losses, damages, or other issues arising from a player’s participation in hockey, skating, training, off-ice activities, independent practice, implementation of coaching feedback, or use of development guidance, except where liability cannot be waived under applicable law.
Any on-ice, off-ice, camp, clinic, private lesson, or in-person training opportunity may require a separate waiver, release, and assumption of risk agreement before participation. Completion of the Founder’s Membership registration does not replace any required facility waiver, event waiver, or participation agreement.
15. Pausing Membership
Founder’s Membership is designed for year-round support and generally does not pause for vacations, schedule conflicts, season breaks, or temporary lack of film.
Art of Hockey may allow a membership pause in the event of player injury or other significant circumstances, at its discretion. Families should contact Art of Hockey as soon as possible to discuss any injury-related pause request.
16. Welcome Kit
After payment is completed through Stripe, Art of Hockey will send a welcome kit by email within 24 business hours.
The welcome kit will include instructions for submitting film, scheduling the first coach strategy call, accessing membership benefits, and understanding next steps.
17. Changes to Membership Terms
Art of Hockey may update membership terms, benefits, processes, pricing, or policies from time to time. Founder’s pricing is intended to remain available to active Founding Members while their membership remains active and in good standing.
If changes materially affect active members, Art of Hockey will make reasonable efforts to provide notice.
18.Membership Conduct, Suspension, and Termination
Art of Hockey reserves the right to suspend, limit, or discontinue a Founder’s Membership at any time if, in Art of Hockey’s judgment, a player, parent, guardian, or family member engages in conduct that is disrespectful, unsafe, inappropriate, abusive, disruptive, dishonest, or inconsistent with the values and expectations of the membership.
This may include, but is not limited to, disrespectful communication, harassment, misuse of coaching access, inappropriate behavior toward coaches or staff, failure to follow scheduling or submission guidelines, unsafe conduct, repeated missed calls, chargebacks or payment issues, or behavior that negatively affects the membership experience.
Founder’s Membership is built for players and families who approach development with respect, coachability, communication, and a genuine desire to improve. Art of Hockey may also discontinue a membership if we determine that the membership is no longer the right fit for the player, family, or business.
If Art of Hockey discontinues a membership, future billing will be canceled. Any refund or partial refund will be handled at Art of Hockey’s discretion, unless otherwise required by law.
