Built by Experience
Founding Members work directly with Nick Keppler, an experienced player development coach with a background across youth, high school, and junior hockey. Most recently, he served as an Assistant Coach in the NAHL, contributing to player development, practice design, and game preparation at the junior level.
Nick created Art of Hockey to give players a smarter development experience built around game understanding, sharper decision-making, and skills that translate to real competition.

No. The Founder's Membership is a player development program, not a traditional hockey advisor service.
Our role is to help players take ownership of their development through coaching, video analysis, feedback, goal setting, and personalized guidance. We help players understand where they are, identify areas for growth, and build a plan to continue improving.
We do not provide recruiting representation, secure team placements, communicate with coaches on a player's behalf, or guarantee advancement opportunities. Instead, we focus on helping players develop the skills, hockey IQ, confidence, and habits needed to make the most of the opportunities available to them.

Founding Members receive early pricing, first access, and a locked-in rate for the duration of their active membership, even as Art of Hockey grows and rates increase.
More importantly, the membership gives players consistent development support throughout the year. Through video analysis, priority review, film clipping, and monthly coach calls, players receive personalized feedback that helps them better understand their game, build confidence, and make adjustments that translate to real play.
Founding Members will also receive first access to new training opportunities, expanded resources, and future membership benefits as Art of Hockey continues to grow.

It is built for players who benefit from consistent coaching, personalized feedback, and year-round development support through video analysis, coach guidance, and clear next steps they can apply in real game situations.

Members submit game film, and we provide personalized feedback focused on decision-making, habits, strengths, and next steps for improvement. More details on how to submit game film will be shared in your welcome kit after registration.

Members receive one included 45-minute coach call each month, along with ongoing support as needed for questions, guidance, and development direction.
The monthly call gives players dedicated time to review progress, talk through feedback, and identify clear next steps. Between reviews and calls, members may reach out for support related to their player’s development, training focus, or how to apply feedback in practices and games.
The goal is to give families consistent guidance throughout the year, not just one-time feedback after a game or camp.
