Art of Hockey Announces Summer camps in maryland
Art of Hockey is bringing summer hockey camps back to Maryland this August.
Players will join us August 17-18, 2026 at The Gardens Ice House in Laurel, MD for two days of skill development, hockey IQ training, competition, and game-transfer learning designed to end summer on the right note and help them prepare for the season ahead.
Art of Hockey’s training approach goes beyond isolated drills. Players work through on-ice skill stations, small-area games, video sessions, off-ice development, and competitive play so they can better understand how their skills transfer into real game situations.

Foundations Camp
Birth Years: 2014-2017
Dates: August 17-18, 2026
Time: 7:30 AM-12:30 PM
Location: The Gardens Ice House in Laurel, MD
Foundations is designed for 10U & 12U players who are building their skills, confidence, and understanding of the game. Across two days, players will move through on-ice skill stations, small-area games, 3v3 play, off-ice drills, pickup games, and creative training environments.
Foundations includes over five hours of on-ice development with two on-ice sessions each day, an AOH practice jersey, small-group coaching, goalie-specific coaching opportunities, and more.
Accelerator Camp
Birth Years: 2008-2013
Dates: August 17-18, 2026
Time: 12:30 PM-6:45 PM
Location: The Gardens Ice House in Laurel, MD
Accelerator is built for players ages 13+ ready for a higher-tempo development environment. Over two days, players will move through skill stations, detailed video sessions, structured practices, off-ice training, and competitive game environments designed to accelerate growth before the season begins.
Accelerator includes more than 12.5 hours of structured development, including nearly five hours of on-ice training with two on-ice sessions each day, an AOH practice jersey, small-group coaching, goalie-specific coaching opportunities, and more.

About Art Of Hockey
Founded in Maryland and now based in Minnesota, Art of Hockey is returning to its roots this August for two days of summer camp training in Laurel.
Led by Nick Keppler, Art of Hockey brings experience across youth, high school, and junior hockey, including time with the Minnesota Mallards in the NAHL, Tri-City Eagles, DeMatha Catholic High School, and Minnesota high school hockey.
Art of Hockey camps are built around creativity, hockey IQ, and game-transfer development. Players will work on skills, decision-making, and competitive concepts designed to carry beyond drills and into real game situations.
